What is Direct to Garment printing?

DTG printing is a printing process that directly applies the ink onto the t-shirt with inkjet technology. It’s sort of like printing on a thin paper, except on a t-shirt. A special printer prints the ink directly onto the garment in the desired design. DTG uses specialty water-based inks, which are absorbed by the fibers of the garment.

Can DTG print to any garment?

Yes, we have can print shirts on any color garment. The only limitation is that the material must be 100% cotton and dark colored shirts must receieve a pre-treatment.

How many colors does Direct to Garment print?

This system uses four color process also called CMYK it will literally print millions of colors.

What print file format do you need for DTG?

We can use just about any image format as long as it’s of good quality resolution. The higher print quality of the file, the better the t-shirt will print. We recommend using a transparent PNG file in RBG color in hi-resolution for best results.

Minimum Orders?

NO MINIMUM when it comes to DTG shirt printing. This is one of the best elements of this t-shirt printing process.

What is T Shirt Screen Printing?

Shirt screen printing involves creating a stencil (we printers call this a “screen”), and then using the stencil to apply layers of ink on the printing surface. Each color is applied to the shirt using a different stencil, one at a time, combined to achieve the custom printed shirt’s final look.

Do you have a t-shirt printing minimum?

Although our minimum order for Screen Printing is 24 t-shirt printed pieces, we do offer other options such a Direct-To-Garment printing for less than the minimum amount of screen printed shirts.

What is your turnaround time for screen printing t-shirts?

Our turnaround time for screen printing shirts is between 10-12 Business Days for standard orders, unlike other print shops that offer 20-22 business days. We do offer rush t-shirt printing services of 5-7 days depending on the complexity of the job. Although every order is different, we do our best meet your custom shirt printing deadline needs. Sometimes, we can even pull off the impossible shirt printing project.

How should you submit artwork?

To ensure the best quality of printing t-shirts, we recommend using the highest quality Vector artwork (.ai files) to begin with. These include formats such as Illustrator, EPS or Vector PDF files.

How is the price determined?

The price per shirt depends on a couple of printing variables within your order.

Number of ink colors in the artwork (more colors, the greater the cost)

What is Embroidery?

Embroidery is decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread.

How do I know how many stitches are in my artwork?

Send your image along with quantities, time you need it by, to info@eliteflyers.com You will receive a response within 24 - 48 hours of your submission with the stitch count, or advising you that more time is needed in order to have our digitizer ‘trace’ it for accuracy in stitch count.

What is your turnaround for Embroidery?

Our turnaround time for embroidery is between 12-14 business days for normal orders. We do offer rush embroidery printing services depending on the complexity of the job. Every order is different, we do our best meet your deadline needs.

Do you offer digitizing?

What size can you embroider?
